No Going Back Publishes Impact Report

No Going Back, a Livery Company initiative, supports the rehabilitation of offenders through funding and job offers. Our Company is actively involved with this project, with Past Master Stephen Turner and Court Assistant Simon Lawson on the steering committee.

NGB is focussed on jobs in construction and the built environment, which as we know, hold wide opportunities. Most importantly the initiative is aimed to specifically meet the skill needs of employers.

The project is London-based, piloted across three prisons: Brixton, ISIS and Wandsworth, and is supported by Bounce Back – an organisation with extensive experience in helping people in prison prepare for job opportunities. Bounce Back works with both the employers and potential candidates to ensure the process and the passage into employment is as seamless as possible for all parties.

In November, No Going Back released it’s 2nd Evaluation Report. The independent Impact Report shows the Social Return on Investment for every £1 spent on NGB is an impressive £12.64 of social value. This has been generated over two years through economic benefits, avoided public spending, and health and wellbeing gains for those involved.
