13 Bridges Challenge: Saturday 24 June 2023

Every year on Armed Forces Day, which is on Midsummer Day Saturday 24 June, a charity walk is conducted across 13 of the bridges over the Thames. The walk begins at Trinity Gardens near Tower Hill Tube and finishes at Eel Brook Common in Fulham.

Organised by The Soldiers, Sailors & Airmen Families Association (SSAFA), the 13 Bridges Challenge is London’s main event for Armed Forces Day. It is the perfect opportunity for companies and individuals to show their support for Armed Forces Day while raising vital funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. This award-winning event is a great opportunity for engagement and to show your support of the Armed Forces Community.

Participants will register near the Tower of London and walk for approximately 10 miles, crossing Tower Bridge first and Battersea Bridge last, having taken in 13 bridges across the Thames in between.

The cost to participants is a £10 registration fee, with a £50 minimum sponsorship.  Participant numbers: c. 1000 including corporate teams, serving military, families, and individuals.
