Your Hotel:

The Mec Paestum Hotel, a five-star family-owned hotel located just a short distance from the ancient city of Magna Graecia known as Poseidonia, later renamed Paestum by the Romans.

The hotel boasts an ideal position between the Cilento Coast – the birthplace of the Mediterranean Diet – and the stunning Amalfi Coast, with views extending to the island of Capri. 

The hotel is also located only a short way from the temples of Paestum.

Itinerary:

• Day One: Arrive at the hotel (check in from 3pm), then Aperitif and Dinner at Hotel Mec Paestum
• Day Two: A private guided tour of the Paestum Temples, followed by Coffee and Traditional Pastries at a local Buffalo Farm. Then, lunch under an ancient olive grove in Cliento, accompanied by local wines. Evening at leisure.
• Day Three: A boat trip around the Cliento coast accompanies by tastings and local wine. Lunch and afternoon at leisure. Then, a typical Italian dinner with local specialities.
• Day Four: Breakfast at the hotel. Depart at leisure.

Cost:

£695 per person, including VAT. This includes hotel accommodation in a Double Elegance room, and all meals, drinks, activities and transport over the three days. This price excludes flights, airport transfers and travel insurance.

Airport transfers can be arranged at a supplement, or we may be able to accommodate for a group that arrives at a similar time. We will be able to confirm this closer to the time.

* Due to the remote location of the weekend, hotel accommodation is limited. There are 25 Double Elegance Rooms, accommodating 50 people if occupied by couples. Supplementary costs apply for single occupancy rooms. Other rooms are available as an upgrade. These include Double Prestige rooms x 10 (+£35 pp per night) and Double De Luxe x 6 (+£70 pp per night). Upgrades will be on a first come, first served basis. 

To book:

A deposit of £200 per person is required on confirmation of booking to secure hotel rooms. If you would like to attend, we ask you confirm by no later than 30th September 2025, completing the accompanying booking form. The balance per person is required by 1st December 2025.

Cancellation costs: Up to 30 days – 50% refund; 30-23 days – 25% refund; less than 23 days – no refund.
