On Friday, our Master Steve Boyer, and Mistress Pauline Boyer, had the privilege of representing the Worshipful Company of Builders’ Merchants at the Children’s Magical Taxi Tour – an extraordinary event that takes children with chronic, debilitating illnesses and life-limiting conditions, on a three-day trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Paris.
This deeply moving event, organised by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, reminds us all how powerful moments of happiness can be for children facing immense challenges, giving them the chance to experience joy, freedom and adventure.
It is also a shining example of why the Livery movement matters: we are uniquely placed to support vital charities, raise awareness, and help deliver life-changing experiences.
